Castaway Cove
There are 6 separate gated communities, called "waves" at Castaway Cove, located just south of central beach area and the 17th Street/Causeway Bridge.  Each are convenient to the beach with their own deeded beach access within the community, convenient to mainland shopping and central beach restaurants on Ocean Drive, and the homes are within the price range of those wanting to be "On the Beach".  Castaway Cove is one of the perpetual favorites in Vero Beach for many reasons.

Half of the communities are located between A1A and the ocean and have direct beach access.  The other half are located on the river side of A1A.  In total, there are 450 homes included in the six waves of Castaway Cove. Homes are one story or two story.

Many of the homes were built in the 80's and 90's, and some kitchens and bathrooms have been remodeled. It is a well maintained community, with winding streets lined with oak trees. True Florida living !!!!    Resale prices begin in the $400's with many in the $600's and $700's after being remodeled.  Ocean view homes are close to $1 Million and ocean front homes as well as River Front homes are well over $1 million and up to $3 Million.
